Onboard
A typical sailboat in our program is 40-50ft and will accommodate six to eight crew. Our sailboats take fewer Scouts onboard than many similar programs, for your comfort and safety.

Arrange groups of 6 or 8 crewmembers. If you are uncertain of numbers or wish to book a larger group please email us to discuss your requirements, and where larger crews are involved we can split your group between sailboats and arrange for you to travel together.

Sleeping Arrangements
Since it will typically be hot and humid in the evening, it will be much more comfortable to sleep on deck every night, weather permitting! However, all our sailboats will have sufficient space to accommodate your crew below decks if the weather is bad and if leaders prefer there will be room for them to sleep in a bunk
.

Each sailboat in the program will have a different layout and once aboard the Captain will brief you on the particular features and rules onboard.

preparing meals

Food and Drinks
We provide an awesome variety of food, we try to use as much fresh produce as possible. There will be fresh fruit and vegetables, including fish from a local market at least one night.

There will be more than enough food for everyone throughout your trip. All meals onboard will be prepared by you and your crew. All necessary provisions will be onboard when you arrive.

We will provide water, as well as ice whenever it is available, other beverages such as tea, coffee, iced tea, orange or grapefruit juice, lemonade and Gatorade/Tang. We don't provide sodas and since not every crewmember may be able to afford sodas, to be fair to everyone they are not allowed onboard.

REMEMBER - You need to let us know in advance if you are allergic to seafood, fish or shellfish, and/or any other kinds of food

Troop 105

"We had such a great time and the boys have not stopped talking about the trip. I think what impressed me most is that there was constant teaching and education. Even when we were not sailing we were constantly learning, the education process was continuous and fun."
